Most of us take our yards for granted, going outside to mow the grass once a week and briefly thinking it would be nice to fix up the yard a bit, but are at a loss of what to do or where to begin.

At An Awakened Garden, Kathleen will arrange to visit your property, talk to you about how you use (or would like to use) the property, walk the property with you and then sit down in your yard to get a “feel” for it and to determine how to best meet your needs while working in harmony with nature. She will then write up a report to outline improvements and changes to your yard with specifics on plants and their care and best locations in your yard for maximum enjoyment with minimal care. - Cost fee is $ 125.00

It has been found that a number of people loved the initial Basic Garden Consultation and after implementing some of the changes, wanted another session to consult and update further. This often times happened to coincide with the changing seasons, though not necessarily. These sessions offer a continuation of the initial work in which to further the framework of the work begun in the first session and are generally less intensive than the initial session.

These can be a one-time session or you can select from several package options including quarterly or monthly sessions.

When we work with nature instead of imposing our own wills upon it, we have much greater success, and more importantly, as we feel our yards begin to move into balance, we also move into a more balanced and happy frame of mind allowing us to feel calmer and more serene in our day-to-day lives.

By re-connecting with nature we can begin the process of working co-creatively and in harmony with nature. This will in turn bring a sense of order and calmness back into our lives; or, if we are already in tune with the natural rhythms, enhance our abilities to connect directly with nature to work together on restoring balance in ourselves, our neighborhoods and throughout our natural environment.
